Who I Am
My Medical Practice
I received my medical education from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. I completed my residency in Adult Psychiatry and specialty training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. As an experienced Psychiatrist with over 20 years in practice, I am able to offer effective , compassionate, psychiatric care for children, adolescents and adults. I believe if I can help one person in a family , perhaps a generation of family members will benefit.
How I Help
The disorders that I typically manage include Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder.
What I Provide
In general, I provide Psychiatric Evaluations and Medication Evaluations. If a necessary part of treatment, I include referrals to Therapists in the community and surrounding areas. I collaborate with the Therapists , other Providers, and the School System to provide the best quality mental health care for You or your Loved One.
